Welcome to the November Edition of the SausagesStuff.com Online Newsletter, The Sausage Press.

Much has happened since we launched the site and Sausage has been busy as ever. You might have noticed that the site has undergone some improvements over the past week. The most notable of which is the addition of our brand new range of Individually Numbered Studded and Spiked Collars!

We introduced the new range in response to the feedback we received from many of you asking for good quality leather studded collars in Sausage's signature colours. Thank you to all who sent emails. We greatly value customer feedback and welcome any and all ideas that you might have for new products and/or ways to improve our existing products.

So far we have had an amazing response from those who have purchased the new studded and spiked collars. Sausage feels very tough in his new studded collar and we're sure that you'll love them as much as we do.

This newsletter is going out to all corner of the globe. In the past few months we've sent SausagesStuff to Singapore, The Netherlands, UK, Spain, Canada, United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico and many, many more countries. We would like to thank all of our customers for getting SausagesStuff.com off to such a great start. It's nice to know that around the globe there are dogs of all shapes and sizes, from Great Danes to Chihuahuas, all wearing Sausage's Stuff.

We are all aware of the bold 'NOT FIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION' logo found on almost all dog and pet food containers these days. When was the last time you actually thought about that disclaimer? Many of us are just accustomed to buying whatever is cost efficient of whatever has the nicest looking label. We have been conditioned for so long to believe that even though pet food can make humans violently ill, it's okay to feed it to our beloved pets. Another misconception is that so called 'specialist pet foods' purchased from your vet or pet shop are somehow better than those on the supermarket shelf. The truth is that they are all bad for our pets. At best they can cause behavioral problems and at worst they can cause a whole host of serious health problems. We switched Sausage to a 'FIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMTION' diet around 6 months ago. We instantly noticed a positive change in his overall behavior and have even managed to save some money. People think that it costs more to feed their pets 'real food', but the opposite is actually true. It is important to feed your dog a balanced diet including some greens. Bones are also a great way to help your dog's teeth and breath.

Last weekend Sausage won the much coveted and fiercely contested 'Best Wagging Tail' Award at the Dachshund Club of South Australia's Dachshund Fun Day! Black and Tan's were seriously out numbered on the day, but Sausage beat the odds and came through at the last minute despite some heated competition from a smooth red. The prize was a large raw hide bone which lasted about five minutes once we got home!

Congratulations Sausage! We've always known that you have the most wagging tail and now we have an award to prove it!

Recently we came across a great song by Peter Himmelman. It's called 'Dixie the tiny dog' and it's about a Sausage Dog.

Because I know tomorrow my Gaines Burgers will be there, and they will unwrap the plastic from them and then feed me this succulent dish, and I will eat
And oh, I've watched the German Shepherds with their long necks, their graceful necks, dipping into the toilet to drink whenever they want to have a drink of cool water in that well
But I must plead, I must beg, I must whine for Mr. Johnson to put out my bowl, or one of the Johnson boys to refill it after I drink it, because I'm Dixie the dog and I like water
And in the middle of the night you can see me dancing a small Fred Astaire tap dance, with my little toenails
They go click click click against the linoleum, and I run down the hall and I slide
And the back of my goes in front of me...slowly
I'm long and I'm thin, I'm Dixie the tiny dog and I like it.
